Drift Dry Gin is a self-guided packaging project that explores multiple mediums. The process included designing a bottle and experimenting with various paper types and printing techniques to conceptualize a luxury alcohol brand.
Programs: Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Fusion 360, and Blender.

The bulk of the process centered on iterative development of the bottle through 3D printing. I went through multiple versions, refining each one to create an object that felt seamless, both in form and in hand. For the label, I experimented with different paper types and ultimately chose rice paper for its delicate texture, echoing the bottle’s airy feel, and to work in combination with the proposed wood and stone. To showcase airiness, I explored the logo design through India ink, playing with the dilution to achieve a soft gradient.
Drift's identity was born from a hiking trip I went on with friends for my birthday. I had hoped to forage juniper along the way, and after a long ascent we reached the peak, lovingly greeted by a juniper tree basking in the sunlight.
